Control of hydrotreater stripper

We have a hydrotreater product stripper, which is supposed to remove the lighters produced by the hydrotrater before beinbg fed to reformer.

The off gases from this strippers overhead are fed back on pressure control as supplementory heat source to the reboiler which is a fired heater.Main source of heat to the reboiler is fuel gas.

Column runs on total reflux on the overhead section.

We currently have a SMCA control on this stripper , which controls the total duty to feed ratio to the tower by manipulating fuel gas to the heater.

However we have seen a lot of disturbances on this control. I request to provide help in tuning this kind of applications.
